Engineers Without Borders – United States of America
EWB-USA supports community-driven development programs worldwide by collaborating with local partners to design and implement sustainable engineering projects, while creating transformative experiences and responsible leaders.

EWB-USA, University of Washington Chapter
EWB-USA UW is a registered non-profit 501(c)3 student organization committed to nurturing the growth of both local and international communities.
Since 2005, our team has researched, designed, and implemented engineering projects that help communities around the world meet their human needs. To date, we have worked in partnership with communities in Nicaragua, Malawi, Haiti, Alaska, Guatemala, as well as locally in Seattle.
Locally, we are partnered with the Campus Sustainability Fund to design and build a solar powered device charging station and mobility device charging stations around campus.
We invite you to come check us out and explore how you can support our causes. We have a place in the club for everyone, no matter their major or experience level. We hope to see you at a general meeting soon!
Interested in joining?
You are welcome to join our team at any time throughout the year! There is work for everyone to do, regardless of major.
Our meetings take place every Wednesday in MEB 248 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
